3. Product disclaimer
Our rugs are Persian-style designs, machine-made and printed onto a low polyester pile; they are not hand-knotted or made in Iran. Colours may vary slightly from screen to screen and measurements by 2–4 cm. Except where Australian law requires otherwise, we are not liable for dissatisfaction resulting from misuse of a product. Your rights under the ACL for faulty or misdescribed goods always apply.
4. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, Saffron Rug Co. is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including loss of data, profits or personal property, or for delivery delays, errors or omissions. Nothing in this section overrides the consumer guarantees under the ACL.
5. Product safety
Please use our rugs safely. Lay them flat on a clean, dry floor, check that edges and corners lie flat to avoid tripping, and use a rug underlay on smooth or polished floors for extra grip. Keep rugs away from open flames and heaters. Follow the care instructions on our Rug Care page.
6. Shipping and delivery
Delivery times are estimates: processing time 1–4 business days, transit time 2–10 business days, total delivery time 3–14 business days (Monday–Friday). We are not liable for delays caused by couriers, weather, strikes, pandemics, remote locations or incorrect addresses. See our Shipping Policy.
7. Returns and refunds
Returns are governed by our Return & Refund Policy and the ACL consumer guarantees. Change-of-mind returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery for rugs that have never been used and are in as-new condition. We are not responsible for returns made outside the approved process. Your rights for faulty or misdescribed goods under sections 54–59 of the ACL always apply.
